Online Applicant Testing

FAQs for those taking a test

What machine do I have to do the assessment on?

Pretty much any machine (Windows/Mac or Android) manufactured in the last 10 years should be able to run our assessments and they work with all major browsers. You will find a physical keyboard is easier than a onscreen one but either can be used and for certain assessments such as the Simulated Call environment, Audio Comprehension, Audio Spelling etc sound is required and we would suggest either you sit in a quiet place or use headphones. There are tests on the audio setup included in the relevant assessments before the questions commence.

How long do the assessments take?

There is an estimated time listed on each invitation, do not start one unless you know you have the amount of time needed to complete it as once started, they cannot be paused.

How long do I have to take the assessments?

The setting organisation will choose the expiry date and that will be given to you as part of the invitation to take them – you must complete by midnight on the date stated or the credentials will no longer work (you can ask them for an extension but that may not fit their timelines).

When will I know my result?

The organisation who set you the assessments will have access to the results as soon as you have finished all assessments set, it is up to them whether they share them with you. We do not have access ourselves and cannot provide it to you.

Is my personal data safe?

Since our very inception data protection is at the centre of everything we do. Your email address and contact details are never entered into our system and client organisations can even use Reference numbers instead of your name for blind (not personally identifiable) recruitment. You will notice that our invitations have a unique identifier and password for you to use – this is all that is recorded in our system with your scores.
